This past month, like millions of people around the globe, HBI was shocked by the stories and images of devastation caused by the Japanese tsunami and earthquake. Our colleagues in Japan immediately donated more than 100,000 pieces of Hanes apparel to survivors of the devastation. The donation, which included men’s and women’s underwear, t-shirts, and socks, will provide a bit of comfort to thousands of people in need. As the relief efforts continue, our thoughts are with the people of Japan.

This past festive season, Hanes helped “Share” the Comfort for deserving people. Hanes invited Facebook fans to “like” their efforts to donate T-shirts to the Salvation Army and invited them to “share” their enthusiasm with their friends.
